An introduction to concepts and applications of mathematics, with examples drawn from such areas as voting methods, apportionment, consumer finance, graph theory, tilings, polyhedra, number theory, and game theory. This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of the art, craft and techniques of filmmaking from story inception to preproduction/production and editing. The course trains students as visual storytellers, applying skills in story structure, screenwriting, camera angles, camera movement, lighting, sound, and editing.
