Tuesday, November 17, 4:00-5:00p, Blazer 263 Lance Poston, director of UK's Office of LGBTQ* Resources, gave a presentation and Q&A on how best to make our classrooms inclusive spaces for all students.
Our eighth Language Talk: KWLA podcast, Second Language Research, features hosts Laura Roché Youngworth and Jeanmarie Rouhier-Willoughby discussing with Stayc Dubravac (MCLLC at UK) and Alan Brown (SPA at UK) their research on partial immersion programs. They share the effect of students' awareness of language structure and how this research can help in designing language programs.
Seven faculty members from the University of Kentucky have been selected to participate in the 2015-16 SEC Faculty Travel Program. The program, in its fourth year, provides support for faculty to collaborate with colleagues at other SEC member institutions.
