Each session is eight weeks long.
New students are required to attend both Virtual Orientation AND Campus Orientation.
English Language Program
Our Intensive English Program is a nondegree program at the University of Kentucky offering four classes (Grammar, Reading, Writing, and Listening/Speaking) that each meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for eight weeks asession.
Whether you are pursuing undergraduate/graduate studies, professional advancement or daily living skills, this program supports rapid improvement through six levels of proficiency (seven for more advanced goals such graduate school).

KY program to host film screening, discussion about Kentucky storm resilience

Launched in 1961, they are the longest-running UK award recognizing accomplished and passionate educators.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 26, 2025) — The University of Kentucky is well-represented on a list of the most-cited researchers in the world. In a database compiled by Stanford University in a partnership with Elsevier, 136 current UK scientists and scholars appear among the top 2% of the most-cited researchers across 22 disciplines.
