The courses engage students in the exploration of relationships between individuals and society and how scholars have come to understand these relationships using conceptual models and processes of inquiry. This interdisciplinary course will focus on the subjective, communal, and structural aspects of society, with the goal of helping students to critically enhance their understanding of the complex and diverse phenomenon that is human social life.
