Honors Service Learning: Singletary

A service learning course focused on critical problem solving, project management skills, shared team collaboration and assessments. Students obtain a clearer understanding of complex organizations like nonprofits, consider the value and role of service to others and putting others before self, and cultivate a greater appreciation for service in their future careers. May be repeated to a maximum of 12 credits.

Honors Independent Work

An independent research or creative project for 1-6 credits under the mentorship of a faculty member in the field. May be repeated up to a maximum of 6 credits. A research or creative project proposal must be agreed to by the student and faculty mentor and must be approved by Lewis Honors College Director of Undergraduate Studies.
