Pharmacology I

This is part one to a two-part pharmacology series with PAS 673. This course is designed to introduce and reinforce basic clinical pharmacology concepts as well as the specific pharmacology of various pathophysiologic disease states. Using a class specific approach, learners will be exposed to various drug classes and information regarding mechanism of action, anticipated adverse effects, and associated clinical pearls will be presented.

Pharmacology I

Sem In Pa Studies II

A study of selected topics and contemporary issues regarding physician assistant practice. Emphasis will be placed on review of selected clinical medicine topics, evidenced-based medicine, principles of managed care, job searches, and interviewing skill.

Peds Dent Seminar I

This seminar course is the first in a series of four such seminars that discuss essential aspects of clinical pediatric dentistry, with emphasis on the scientific evidence supporting contemporary practice. These four consecutive seminar courses over four semesters (two academic years) provide the pediatric dentistry graduate student with a conceptual basis for caring for the oral health of children.

Peds Dentistry Sem IV

This seminar course is the fourth and last of a series of four such seminars that discuss essential aspects of clinical pediatric dentistry, with emphasis on the scientific evidence supporting contemporary practice. These four consecutive seminar courses over four semesters (two academic years) provide the pediatric dentistry graduate student with a conceptual basis for caring for the oral health of children. This fourth seminar in the series consists of sixteen two- hour sessions (32 hours) and addresses the required reading list of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Peds Dentistry Sem IV

This seminar course is the fourth and last of a series of four such seminars that discuss essential aspects of clinical pediatric dentistry, with emphasis on the scientific evidence supporting contemporary practice. These four consecutive seminar courses over four semesters (two academic years) provide the pediatric dentistry graduate student with a conceptual basis for caring for the oral health of children. This fourth seminar in the series consists of sixteen two- hour sessions (32 hours) and addresses the required reading list of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Clinical Pediatric Dentistry I

An introductory preclinical lab and clinical pediatric dentistry course, instructing dental students on preventive care and restorative care for children. In the Simulation Lab, the student will develop a specific skill-set on numerous restorative techniques for primary teeth which will include preparation and restoration for 1) Posterior Teeth: Class I, Class II, Stainless Steel Crown, Pulpotomy treatment and Sealants and for 2) Anterior Teeth: Class III and Class IV anterior Strip Crown restorations.
