Financial statements communicate information about a business and its operations. This course focuses on the use, rather than the preparation of financial statement information. It provides an analytical framework and describes tools used to perform accounting analysis, forecasting, and valuation. It also clarifies and emphasizes the role of accounting in the formation of prices in the capital markets.
