This course is intended for graduate students in music education with the major focus of the class involved in learning behavioral principles, learning observational categories pertaining to classroom reinforcement and role playing and practicing techniques to be employed later in the classroom.

This course is directed toward developing individualized advanced competencies in music therapy in one of the following areas: Music Therapy Theory, Research, Musical Development and Personal Growth, and Clinical Administration. Course may be repeated for up to 3 credit hours.
