The clinical elective in community Internal Medicine-Pediatrics is a four-week rotation in the outpatient rural setting during which students assume a primary role for evaluating and managing patients receiving internal medicine and pediatric services under the guidance of an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physician. Clinical, 40-80 hours per week.

The student will experience the day-to-day activities of this clinician in the inpatient setting.
