Robert B. Grossman, professor of chemistry at the University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences, has been re-elected to serve as faculty trustee on the university’s Board of Trustees. His new three-year term will end June 30, 2020.

Professor of History Francie Chassen-Lopez will be awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Athens (Greece) on May 9, 2017. This is the highest honorary title awarded by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and signifies the impact of Chassen-Lopez’s work in the community of history and Latin American studies.
The CESJ student photo competition for photos capturing and celebrating diversity at the University of Kentucky to foster a sense of pride in diversity among student populations.
Screening will be held in the Davis Marksbury Building in the Hardymon Theater.
This course will present information regarding the diagnosis and management of orofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders. The course will consist of lectures and one laboratory session. The information provided in this course will allow the student to understand the dentist's role in managing complex orofacial pain problems. The area of temporomandibular disorders will be emphasized since the dentist plays a major role in managing these pain disorders. Lecture, 45 hours; laboratory, 3 hours. Prereq: ANA 534,OSG 820, and RSD 822.

The University of Kentucky recognized exceptional faculty and teaching assistants at the Outstanding Teaching Awards at the 2017 University of Kentucky Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 25, in Woodward Hall of the Gatton College of Business and Economics building. Recipients of the inaugural Inclusive Excellence Awards, in partnership with the Office for Institutional Diversity were also recognized.
