Elective: Ambulatory Med-Peds
The Med-Peds Ambulatory Elective is a four-week experience in the outpatient setting for fourth-year medical students. This is an integrated course between the fields of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, involving a variety of practice settings including primary care and subspecialty care. The educational focus is on experiential activities, augmented by didactic learning activities to provide an overview of the care of both children and adults. This course provides an opportunity for an in-depth experience for students interested in the field of internal medicine and pediatrics.
