Honors Students Present Research at Kentucky Honors Roundtable
The Kentucky Honors Roundtable allows undergraduate students to present their research projects, serve on academic panels and interact with academically excelling students from other Kentucky institutions. This year the conference hosted approximately 60 presentations, spanning over a range of diverse topics.
Summer Courses!
As every summer starts approaching I always wonder to myself, should I take an online class? The answer to that this summer is YES! In fact I will be taking two summer courses, both of which will be online. This year A&S has made it really easy to see all the courses that are being offered over the summer and they have even color coded them to help make your search easier. You can filter the courses by sessions, a selected list of courses such as A&S humanities or you can just browse the entire catalogue to find something that you might be interested in taking. This year A&S has made it really easy to find all the courses being offered and I would encourage you to check it out and take a class (or two)!
Creation and Conservation: Alex Brooks
Local book conservator and letterpress printer Alex Brooks graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2003 with a degree in English. He graduated from a Master’s program in Book Conservation in England at West Dean College in 2012. In this interview, Brooks talks about his experiences at UK and in England, and how he is putting his knowledge to use around Kentucky.
