Prospecting for employment, working conditions, avenues for advancement, pricing work, and the legal responsibilities of the artist-designer to the client-agency discussed. A-S 561 is an advanced course in metal working skills, techniques and processes for production sculpture forms based on traditional and contemporary ideas. Primary emphasis is placed on metal shop orientation: casting and non-traditional materials and surfaces. Sculptural concepts are explored through individual research, critical discussions and art production. May be repeated to a maximum of nine credit hours.
