The quarks feel all five types of boson-mediated interactions: electromagnetic, strong, weak, Higgs and gravitational. In this talk I will discuss theoretical and experimental constraints on hypothetical new interactions among quarks. Interactions of this type can be hidden if they have a very short range, or if they are very weak, or by other mechanisms such as momentum-dependent couplings. A related question is how strongly can quarks interact with dark matter.

Join us in celebrating this year’s Luckens Prize Winner, Yoni Pomeranz, and hearing a presentation on his winning essay, The Humility of God in Rabbinic Judaism. One of Rabbinic Judaism's main theological innovations is the idea that God acts with humility. Biblical theology makes use of metaphors grounded in social relations: God is the father and Israel is the son; God is the king and Israel is the subject. In the Bible, God always has the superior position. Rabbinic theology sometimes reverses these dynamics to have God choose to take the inferior position in an act of humility. The talk will examine one of these cases, in which God shows deference to Moses, and explore how the rabbis, through their concept of a humble deity, relate to the text of the Bible and Roman and Christian concepts of honor and regret. You will not want to miss this opportunity.

Hello everyone.
In this blog, "The Art of stress management", I will share with you a few simple techniques that you can incorporate in your daily life to handle stress more efficiently. The techniques that I am going to talk about are the ones that I have researched and incorporated in my daily life and have experienced the benefits of using them.
By the way, what is stress?
I think that the stress starts out with a concern about something, soon it becomes worry which consumes our mind and develops into stress. I categorize stress as level 1 when it is just a concern, level 2 when it becomes worry and level 3 when it develops into “stress”. So the best time to catch "stress" is when it is at the level 1 category.
What happens when people get stressed? They feel that they are losing the control, they are getting off the track. So basically we want to get back on track and be in control. We want to take charge of our thoughts, our emotions, our schedule and our ability to handle the problems.
In this blog, I will outline
Now let’s see what the most common stress causing elements are.
