Through Paul Laurence Dunbar High School's Math, Science, and Technology Center, high school senior Valerie Sarge is acquiring an impressive set of research skills before she even begins college. Valerie has been working with chemistry professor John Anthony at UK's Center for Applied Energy Research, and is looking at how agricultural byproducts might be able to be used in flexible, low-cost electronics.
Over the course three decades, peer consultants at the Writing Center have assisted thousands of student, faculty, and staff in improving the style and effectiveness of their writing.
University of Kentucky professors Karen Petrone and Jeanmarie Rouhier-Willoughby have helped bring a distinctly Russian flavor to UK. In addition to their departments, they are both a part of the Russian Studies program and helped organize 2012's Russian-themed Passport to the World events.
