My name is Sereniti Jade Coulter and I study Linguistics and Arabic/Islamic Studies at the University of Kentucky. I’m from Bardstown, Kentucky, but Lexington is my home away from home. I am a member of the Muslim Student Association and the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. I also conduct research on the lexical flexibility of idiomatic expressions and was previously a Chellgren Fellow. My favorite places to eat in Lex are The Local Taco, Mellow Mushroom, Masala, and Taste of Thai. I enjoy painting, reading, and watching Netflix. My favorite colors are pink, lavender, and (of course) UofK blue!
