Madi Horner

Hello, I am happy you're here! 

My name is Madi Horner and I will be your academic advisor while in the College of Arts and Sciences. Though I am not a native Kentuckian, I have had the pleasure of living in the Commonwealth for the last 8 years! Having graduated two times from UK, I can say that I am a true bleed blue wildcat. While at UK, I was involved in a plethora of organizations on campus and enjoyed attending all of the sports games, especially the volleyball games. I have previously worked in social work at various organizations throughout the city, including over at UK Hospital. I have now transitioned over to Student Success and am looking forward to meeting all the students that walk through our doors. I hope to be a safe space for you to share your academic and life goals! 

In my free time you can find me coaching all levels of volleyball in the Lexington area, attending sporting events, traveling around the world, spending time with my dog, Rookie, or watching a movie (in theaters or at home) with my fiancé, Haydon. I am eager to speak with you soon and I hope that you can make UK your home away from home!
