Daniel Vallejo-Cáliz
Anthropology Ph.D. Candidate

Archaeology, Ph.D. student from San Andres Cholula, Mexico. Received my B.A. from the Universidad de las Américas, Puebla, Mexico. I have specialized in the study of the Northern Maya Lowlands of the Yucatan Peninsula on subjects such as abandonment and dispositional practices. I have worked in the Maya sites of Xuenkal, Yaxuna, Ikil, Ek Balam, and Ucan-ha, among others. I am currently working along Dr. Scott Hutson exploring the dynamics of the causeway (sacbé) that links the Maya site of Uci and Cansahcab.
