Amber Gray-Kurz
Amber Gray-Kurz has worked at The University of Kentucky since August 2018. She began as an Academic Coordinator in M-G CAFE and has transitioned into an Academic Advisor II role with the College of Arts & Sciences.
During her time at UK she has served students and faculty through student academic advising, course scheduling, recruitment, and program and curriculum review and assessment.
She began her career in Higher Education in 2008 at Eastern Kentucky University. At EKU she gained expertise in the areas of International Education, Enrollment Management, Graduate Studies and Student Success.
Amber is originally from a small town in Western Kentucky and moved to Central Kentucky in 2006 to pursue her education at Eastern Kentucky University. She stayed in the area because she fell in love with Lexington and the Higher Education field.
Amber has an A.A. degree from WKCTC and a B.S. and MBA from Eastern Kentucky University. She has also received the UK Global Engagement Academy International Center Certification as well as UK Business Procedures Certificates in Student Lifecycle Management, Finance, and Human Resources She is also a member of the UK Advising Network.
FUN FACTS: She has visited 37 countries, is Scuba certified, and has two dogs.
