Note:
This course provides an in-depth exploration of key milestones in deep learning history while delving into the latest advancements, including large vision and language models. In contrast to its sister course "Deep Learning Fundamentals" which emphasizes theoretical foundations, this course focuses on practical understanding and uses. In addition, this course also leverages deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, along with AI ecosystems like Hugging Face. For advanced students, research methodologies and future directions will also be touched upon. Prerequisite: Intermediate knowledge and experience in deep learning (basic knowledge is _not_ sufficient). Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow is advantageous but not mandatory.
