ABSTRACT

One of the myths in theoretical physics is that in four-dimension, the trace anomaly is given only by the central charges "a" and "c". I'd like to discuss other possibilities e.g. R² term and Hirzebruch-Pontryagin density. In particular, I'll show how these can arise in a ``freakolographic computation". Are they really consistent? Any pathology? I'd like to challenge how far the holograhic computation can go. The obvious but sutble distinction between scale invariance and conformal invariane will be emphasized.
