March: the Season of Good Luck Charms
Assistant professor of psychology Will Gervais explores the psychology behind superstition.
According to recent research, approximately one in five Americans don’t identify with a religion.
During the 2013 fall semester, University of Kentucky students will have the opportunity to delve into questions that explore some of society's most deeply held beliefs.
The Department of Psychology is excited to welcome professor Will Gervais to its faculty!
Professor Gervais joins us this fall studying how cognition, evolution, and culture interact to shape people’s beliefs about the world. His research concerns religion and supernatural thinking, examining the psychological causes and consequences of both religious belief and disbelief.
