CONTROLLED ENROLLMENT: Restricted to students participating in the CAFE LLP. For enrollment information, contact Derek Miller at derek.miller@uky.edu.This course provides students in the Living Learning Program with opportunities to build on their new knowledge surrounding issues in Agriculture, Food and Environment. Topics will include community engagement, service learning, application of knowledge and skills, and ways of discovering and preparing for their place in their chosen field as a future professional. This course is specifically designed for first year students (in community) to cover basics and be a precursor to future professional development seminars and capstone classes.

Interdisciplinary, topical or experimental courses to be approved by the Dean of the College of Agriculture. A particular course may be offered at most twice under the GEN 300 number, and no GEN 300 course may be given for more than three credits per semester. Open to all University students, subject to such limits or prerequisites as set by the instructor. Hours are variable with each special course.
