Adv Pra Nur Care Critically Ill Adults

The didactic portion of this course focuses on the assessment, differential diagnosis and management of critically ill adults. Emphasis is placed upon biological, behavioral and advanced nursing concepts and research in order to facilitate the management and evaluation of therapies for critically ill adults and their families. The clinical portion of this course focuses on the care of critically ill adults in high acuity environments. The emphasis is placed upon students becoming a collaborative member of the health care team and incorporating both medical and advanced nursing concepts in the care of critically ill adults and their families.
