This course is designed to help students acquire the research skills needed to be effective practicing attorneys. Moving beyond first year basic legal research, this course integrates manual and on-line resources with emphasis on strategies for cost effective, efficient research. Students will gain familiarity with concepts of artificial intelligence as it is applied to legal research. Weekly in- and out-of- class assignments will help the students acquire practical mastery of the material. Enrollment is open to both second- and third-year students.
