An independent work in an area of Mathematics under the direction of a faculty mentor. A research contract must be signed by the student and the faculty research mentor. May be repeated up to a maximum of 6 credits, but a maximum of 3 credits may be used to satisfy the requirements of a B.A. or B.S. in Mathematics.
