The communications team tells the stories of the College of Arts and Sciences and its students, faculty, alumni and staff. To do this, we focus on producing feature stories, articles and press releases promoting research, academic pursuits and the people behind them in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Press and Media
All media and inquires for the College of Arts and Sciences are handled by the Creative and Technical Solutions (CaTS) team in alignment with UK Public Relations and Marketing standards.

Story Idea Submission
Written stories are posted to the College’s main website and departmental/program websites. They are also shared with UK PR for possible inclusion in UK Now. Additional avenues for distribution may include:
- College of Arts and Sciences social media.
- College of Arts and Sciences digital signage.
- Faculty Focus, a weekly e-newsletter for faculty produced by UK PR.
- Wildcat Rundown, a weekly e-newsletter for students produced by UK PR.
- Cat Chat, a monthly email for UK families produced by the Parent and Family Association.
All story ideas should be submitted using the Project Request form.
E-Newsletter Support
The CaTS team provides design and communications support for College of Arts and Sciences newsletters.
Design Requests:
For layout, graphic, or visual support, please complete a Project Request form.
Final Submission and Approval:
All externally-viewed newsletters must be submitted for approval. This process helps ensure accessibility compliance and design consistency.
All newsletters must be submitted through the Asana form for review and approval prior to distribution.
