Note:
Competitive programming is about designing algorithms and writing programs to solve problems relatively quickly; it tests your ability to use data structures and algorithms learned in class and outside of class to write correct and efficient algorithms in a competitive setting. There is a payoff for every student, not only those interested in competing in contests. One of them, a proven one, is quickly improving white-board interview skills. Starting September 11, 2023, this course will meet synchronously on Mondays from 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm and asynchronously on Fridays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Instructor's consent is required. Please contact Stephen Hicks at stephen.hicks@uky.edu to request enrollment in this course.
