Note:
Forms of the Student Struggle in the Secondary Mathematics Classroom. This course will engage the participant in reflecting upon, responding to, and synthesizing research literature related to the different forms of struggle students may experience in the mathematics classroom across both cognitive and non-cognitive domains. The primary learning outcome of this course experience is for the participant to develop a critical command of literature in this area as well as identify and operationalize avenues for further inquiry.
