This course was created for all undergraduate nursing students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. This course provides an overview of the registered nurse's role in the primary care setting. The registered nurse's contributions to health promotion, disease prevention, chronic disease management and population health will be explored. Emphasis will be on the role of the registered nurse as a collaborative member of the primary care health care team.
