Independent study on a research question or problem in nutritional sciences; the topic is selected in collaboration with a faculty mentor, and the research is conducted under the supervision of a faculty member. The goal of this course is for students to have an authentic research experience working directly with a faculty member and/or a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow in data collection and analysis, as well as conducting a portion of the research project independently. All required materials deemed necessary for the independent research project in nutritional sciences will be provided by the faculty adviser.
