Prereq: Admission to School Psychology graduate program or permission of instructor.
The goal of this course is to provide students with knowledge of ethics and law that pertain to the theory, research, and practice of school psychology. This course will provide experiential and problem-based learning in the area of professional standards and ethics for the field of school psychology. Professional standards and ethics will be drawn from the codes of the American Psychological Association, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards. Students will translate ethical principles and standards into guidelines for decision making and practice.
