This course is designed to increase one's sensitivity to and respect for individual differences. Models, frameworks, techniques and experiential exercises are presented to increase one's skill level in working with persons from diverse backgrounds (e.g., race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability and ability status, religion/spirituality/worldview, social class, age, body shape and size, nationality, citizenship status).
