The course will focus on the rights, constraints and responsibilities under the U.S. Constitution, federal and state statutes, administrative law and common law. Specific topics include prior restraint, libel, privacy, student media, copyright, broadcast regulation, the court systems, commercial speech and access to courts and public records.
