Note:
Registration for AN 300 is restricted to B&E Majors, Business minors, and Business Analytics minors through April 16, 2024. Registration will open to all other students on April 17, 2024. This class is asynchronous in Canvas and has no specific meeting pattern or location. Computer requirements: Analytics courses require a working computer. Although not required, Windows 10 or 11 is strongly recommended over the Mac OS or a Mac running Windows emulation software. This course introduces Business Analytics and its application to business problems in functional domains including Operations, Marketing, Management, etc. Students learn contemporary tools, models, and methods for developing and deploying descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics approaches to solving such problems. This core course enables future in-depth knowledge of Business Analytics in advanced classes.
