Research/Professional interests: Presently employed as the Physical Hydrogeologist at the Alberta Geological Survey. I am mostly working on a project to understand the basin-scale groundwater flow dynamics and chemical evolution in parts of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. I am also collaborating with several researchers worldwide to understand groundwater contamination in fluvial basins and recharge in semi-arid areas.

Professional interests: I teach undergraduate physical and environmental geology at the Westchester campus of Pace University. I am also a senior research geologist at LaPorta and Associates, LLC., where I have been studying the tectonic stratigraphy of the Cambrian-Ordovician passive margin succession in New Jersey and New York. My geologic mapping of the chert-bearing carbonates of the Cambrian-Ordovician passive margin has also allowed me to work on the geologic controls of prehistoric bedrock quarries developed in the same rocks.
