Prereq: Admission to the MA/MS in Education (Initial Certification Option-Secondary Education)
Students will participate with other secondary education majors in a variety of disciplines in the reflective study of adolescent behavior, secondary school curriculum, school law, learning theory, learning styles, effective teaching and learning, instructional technology, working with special populations, cultural diversity in the schools, school context, and professional development. Students will spend time in the schools applying concepts. May be repeated to a maximum of nine credits. Lecture, 3-9 hours; laboratory, 6-18 hours per week.
