Prereq: Priority is given to majors and upper-level students. All students must apply and be accepted through the Office of Education Abroad and pay required deposits prior to registration. International travel and additional travel costs are required.
The international study tours focus on the science and art of living and working well in a complex world. Specifically, the course will help students identify various factors that contribute to individual differences in human development, including culture and time. Topics will help students better understand, strengthen, and empower families. Professional presentations and site visits are planned according to specific itineraries. Outside of the scope of coursework, all students will enhance their multicultural competency through site visits of historical, cultural, and contemporary significance. This course may be repeated three times if study abroad destinations are different.
