The course will include the study of moral reasoning and ethical theories in medical ethics. Ethical issues arising in the practice of health care delivery will be examined. Codes of ethics and the health professional's obligations to patients, colleagues, employing institutions, and the community will be considered and relevant case studies will be analyzed.
