This course focuses on a conceptual understanding of public leadership and ethics; explores the values and practical skills necessary for successful leadership in public service; and, encourages greater self- awareness about the student's potential to lead. The course is designed to be a relatable and common-sense application of learned material for a public sector/non-profit environment.
This course provides an introduction to ethical theory, explores the ethical dimensions of practice in the public sector, and examines ethics in connection with policy development.
