Prereq: Promotion to the Advanced Development Phase (M4) of the M.D. curriculum.
The clinical elective is a four-week rotation that allows the student to obtain in-depth exposure to in the care of patients with a variety of hematologic and oncologic diseases with an expert preceptor(s) at a regional hospital. The student will experience the day-to-day activities of this specialty in the hospital and outpatient settings.
