This course is designed to expand the knowledge and understanding of students about the theory and dynamics of homophobia, heterosexism, and homonegativity. The effects of living with prejudice and discrimination among the gay and lesbian support systems available. Micro and macro social work intervention strategies will be studied as they relate to overall themes.
