A continuation of PHR 804, concentrating on contemporary drug delivery systems, principles of compounding, and methods of manufacture. Emphasis is placed on the design, function, use, and evaluation of modern drug delivery systems. Laboratory experiences are directed toward a study of the analytical and physical-chemical aspects of dosage form design and quality assurance. Lecture, three hours; laboratory, four hours.
