Advanced Concepts In Temporomandibular Disorders

This 12-month course is designed to provide graduate students and dental residents with an advanced understanding of the anatomy, physiology, and function of the masticatory system. The anatomy, epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis, and management considerations for chronic complex temporomandibular disorders are emphasized. Upon completion of the course, the student should be proficient in the process of thorough assessment and treatment planning for patients with chronic complex temporomandibular disorders and their relationships with other co-morbid orofacial pain conditions.
