This interprofessional course will increase students' multicultural awareness, knowledge, and skill in the assessment and provision of healthcare. Models will be evaluated that aim to enhance the assessment and provision of culturally competent care, from the clinician to the organizational levels. Students will learn how to integrate evidence-based decision-making competencies to maximize attention to the needs of a diverse healthcare workforce.
