Uk Transitions To Practice Nurse Residency Course

This course is designed to support the registered nurse in the development of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to become a clinical leader and confident, collaborative professional. Nurses will have opportunities to discuss and apply knowledge about scope of practice, patient & family-centered care, stress management, communication, identifying and intervening in patient deterioration, conflict resolution, ethics, leadership at the bedside, and professional development. This course is specifically for associate degree-prepared registered nurses at UK Health Care who are pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
