This distance learning course is for the Licensed Practical Nurse to facilitate the transition into the baccalaureate degree nursing program. The content is designed to prepare students to participate as care providers in an interdisciplinary team to promote health and well-being of a patient in a structured healthcare environment. The course is intended to allow licensed practical nurses the opportunity to update and enhance knowledge, utilize critical thinking and a systematic problem-solving process.
