Elective: Women's Health

This 4-week course provides an opportunity for an in-depth multispecialty experience in an outpatient setting for fourth year medical students interested in women's health. Students will be exposed to specialty services with an emphasis on women's health as ell as primary care for women. Students will spend the majority of their rotation seeing patients in the UK Women's Health Internal Medicine clinic, which provides primary care services to women in the region. The students will also participate in a variety of specialty clinics than can be tailored to the student's interest, including but not limited: cardiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, Bone Metabolism, Neurology, and Urology.
