Topics may include: the Egyptians and Babylonians, mathematics of the Greek Classical Age, Euclid and the Alexandrian School, the Renaissance, Fermat and the beginning of calculus, the work of Newton and Leibnitz, nineteenth century geometry, analysis and set theory.
