Information Behavior Of Children & Youth

Includes an overview of the current research relating to the information behavior of children and youth in both school and everyday life, an examination of the different approaches to studying children and youth in the research literature, and consideration of the ways in which such research can inform the provision of information services for this population. This course will be of interest to students intending to pursue careers as school library media specialists, children or teen services librarians, or as information professionals in knowledge organizations that provide materials and/or services to children and youth.
